The saying we grew up with
Sticks and Stones May Break My Bones...
“...but words will never hurt me.”
Experience teaches something different. Words can hurt. Words can heal. They can strengthen confidence or weaken it, awaken fear or strengthen faith, build relationships or destroy trust.
The words spoken to us matter.
The words we speak to others matter.
The words we speak within ourselves matter.
